ICF is introducing a new PCC-MCC Exam from November 10, 2026.

It is not yet clear whether candidates will be able to choose between the current and new exam formats during the transition. ICF offered ACC candidates that choice during its 2024 transition, but it has not confirmed the same arrangement for PCC and MCC candidates.

We are developing a new-format practice simulator based on the published exam structure, the 2025 ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics, including both knowledge-based and situational-judgment questions.

As ICF publishes its candidate guidance and official tutorial, we will make the transition guidance clearer and continue refining the simulator to reflect the experience candidates can expect.

Choose the format you are preparing for. This does not determine which official exam ICF will offer you—follow the information in your ICF invitation and Pearson VUE booking.

Brenda Ammon, MCC

“Boris’s simulator helped me pinpoint my weaker competencies and focus the two days of studying I had left. I passed the ICF Credentialing Exam first time.”

Brenda Ammon, MCC
Cristina Dragomir, MCC

“This is a solid preparation tool. It gets you thinking in the right way for the ICF credentialing exam and the explanations afterwards turn practice into real learning.”

Cristina Dragomir, MCC
Blaise Angel, MCC

“I’d definitely recommend it. The questions are rich; they bring perspectives you don’t find elsewhere.”

The full PCC/MCC credentialing journey runs €2,000+ (assessment fees, mentor coaching hours, application). €149 for this simulator is under 8%, for 90 days of focused practice with rationale on every item.

Working with a mentor coach? If they've signed up as a mentor, their code takes 20% off, ask them for it. Or look for the founding price above: a better deal while it lasts.

Where this fits in your prep

ICF's official Study System teaches the framework: €685 (ICF member) or €915 (non-member) for 12 months of reading materials, module quizzes, flashcards, and one practice exam. Useful groundwork.

This is €149 for 90 days. 680 scenarios. Roughly 22 cents per scenario, with master-coach reasoning on each.

This is the practice that goes alongside it. 680 items in the real best-and-worst exam format. Most candidates who pass first time use both: the official system for the theory, this for the volume.

ICF Study System pricing as of May 2026. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the International Coaching Federation.

Who this is for

You're sitting the exam in the next 1–10 weeks

You've finished (or are close to finishing) your ICF-approved training. You need pattern recognition under timed pressure, not flashcards.

You've read the 8 sample items ICF publishes

And then you ran out of practice material. There is no other openly-available, rationale-rich corpus large enough to take you from "I know the framework" to "I score 75%+ under timed conditions."

You want ACC, PCC, or MCC

Two banks, one product. The ACC bank (180 single-best items across Ethics, Boundaries, and Core Competencies) and the PCC/MCC bank (500 best-and-worst items, weighted toward the calibration where two reasonable coaches might land differently). Pick your track at signup.

You're mentor-coaching a PCC/MCC candidate

Already-credentialed coaches use the bank with their mentees as a shared reference. Work an item together, compare best/worst calls, surface the calibration gap. Bring it to mentor sessions.

Frequently asked

Is this affiliated with ICF?

No. The product is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or licensed by the International Coaching Federation. "ICF Credentialing Exam" is referenced descriptively only. Items are original work, not reproduced or derived from any ICF resource.

Is the PCC-MCC Exam changing in 2026?

Yes. ICF says the new PCC-MCC Exam begins on November 10, 2026. It will have 80 items—36 knowledge questions and 44 situational-judgment questions—in four sections over 150 minutes including an optional 10-minute break. ICF lists March 31, 2027 as the final date to sit the current exam.

ICF has not said whether PCC and MCC candidates can choose formats or how it will assign an exam. Choosing a format here is only a preparation choice; follow your ICF invitation and Pearson VUE booking.

What does €149 buy me, exactly?

90 days of full access to the entire bank of 680 questions, all modes (full mock, quick mock, drill, custom, study), and master-coach rationale on every item. Buy now and start any time within 6 months; your 90 days begin the first time you open the simulator. After your 90 days you can renew or step away.

For context: an hour with a mentor coach typically costs €150–300. €149 buys you 90 days of unlimited practice against 680 items with master-coach rationale: the same money as one mentor hour, or three months of practice.

What's the "founding 50" thing?

The first 50 buyers get the product for €99 instead of €149, a launch promo. The counter above is live. Once 50 spots are gone, the price reverts to €149 (or €119 with a mentor-coach code).

I'm working with a mentor coach. Can I get a discount?

If your mentor coach has signed up as a referrer at our mentor page, ask them for their code; it takes 20% off (so €119 instead of €149). The founding-50 price is better if it's still available; the mentor discount kicks in once those are gone.

What's the refund policy?

7-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee from when you start (your activation), provided you've consumed less than 20% of the bank. And you can start any time within 6 months of buying. Email support@boristhecoach.com.

Does it work on my phone?

The simulator is designed for desktop or tablet. Drag-and-drop best/worst answers is the core interaction, which doesn't translate well to phone screens. The real exam is sat on a desktop too. If you've only got a phone, email us and we'll sort something out.

Will I pass after using this?

This product provides 680 rationale-rich practice questions aligned to the current exam formats. Brenda Ammon, MCC (quoted above) passed first time after using the simulator across her final two study days. No preparation product can promise a pass; your result depends on your own work and ICF’s assessment.

What about CCEUs?

The product is not currently a CCEU-bearing resource. We may pursue CCEU accreditation through ICF post-launch; if it's granted, we'd notify existing customers and provide the certificate. No promises on timing or outcome.

Can I see a sample?

Yes, no card needed. Sign in with a magic-link email, pick your exam track (ACC or PCC/MCC), and you get 10 curated items spread across all 8 ICF Core Competencies (or 3 ACC domains) in study mode. Same items every time so you can come back and master them.
